Hotas, a new album by Tsuumi Sound System was released by Aito Records in May 2007. Tsuumi Sound System is a highly dynamic modern folk music group consisting of eight musicians with very different backgrounds who appear regularly with the Dance Company.
Hotas is the fifth studio album of Tsuumi Sound System. From another perspective, it could also be considered as the debut album of a band that has only recently come home in terms of its formation. The record is made by a steady eight-piece group known for spectacular live performances. This time more than ever – with the assistance of producer Roger Tallroth – Tsuumi Sound System was able to bring their amazing on-stage energy into the studio as well.
